Each horn is made with durable colored resin. Since it is not painted there will never be an issue or chipping, ect showing different colors underneath. Plus, a tumble from things like a wild slap bet shouldn't break it!
It is flat on one side so the magnet doesn't stick out from the fridge and lays flat. But the top half is had curves etc. Completely flat magnets are boring so cutting it in half was the perfect compromise. You want something that will last forever and makes an impact even from the side.
It's just over 3.5 inches wide which helps it stand out!
